Garrett Mogel is a versatile photographer based in Colorado with nearly a decade of experience capturing compelling images. Garrett's expertise spans a diverse range of subjects including, journalistic, action, portraiture, fine art, and landscape.

Having initially delved into the depths of the Rocky Mountains as a landscape photographer, Garrett honed his technical skills and nurtured a passion for the art of photography. Currently pursuing a major in photojournalism at Colorado State University, Garrett has shifted his focus to storytelling and news coverage. 

Garrett’s editorial portfolio encompasses a wide array of assignments, including capturing poignant moments from protests, covering large-scale events, exploring human interest stories, and documenting exhilarating action sports.

In pursuit of more impactful narratives, Garrett immerses himself in long-form stories, embedding with organizations such as the Larimer County Search and Rescue Team and the Fort Collins Police Services SWAT team to better foster a conversation between the viewer and the subject matter.
